Fees, Payment and Insurance

I am an out of network provider and do not accept insurance. This allows us more privacy and control in our work together. I accept cash, checks, Venmo, PayPal and credit and debit through IvyPay. Payment is required at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made. Sliding scale fees are available based on financial need.


PRICING

  • Intake - $140

  • Individual Session - $120

  • Couples Session - $140

All writing projects are quoted individually based on scope. A payment schedule will be discussed and determined at the onset of the project based on timeline and scale.

Cancellation Policy

Reminders of your appointment are provided the day before session via text and email. Should something arise that will prevent you from attending our session, please notify me within 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. There is a $75 fee for no show, no call for your scheduled appointment. Should attendance issues become frequent, I reserve the right to terminate treatment.

Referrals

Your care and well-being are my utmost priority. Situations may arise where I do not offer the appropriate level of care you may need. When this happens, I will refer you to the appropriate facility, physician or clinician.

Confidentiality

Under HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) your personal health information (including diagnosis, notes, treatment plans and bills) cannot be disclosed without your written permission. Per these regulations, I am required to maintain the privacy of your personal health information. There are exceptions to these, which include suspected abuse of child, individual or elder, threats of serious bodily harm or property damage to another or intent to self harm. I am obligated by the State of Connecticut to notify DCF, the police or other appropriate authorities to ensure client and other's safety should any of these situations arise.
